William Ernest Palus, 81, of Wooster died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born May 15, 1935 in New Castle, PA to Ernest William and Irene Dunn Palus.   On February 11, 1956, he married Anita Louise Iannarelli.   She preceded him in death August 9, 2012.
William was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and retired from Rubbermaid after 35 years in Logistics.   He also worked at D&S Distribution in his retirement years.   He served his country in the U.S. Army.
William is survived by his son Jeff (Melissa) Palus of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren Nolan Palus, Joshua and Sean Conine and a great granddaughter Jasmine Conine.
Along with his wife, William was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pat Gallo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
