ORRVILLE – William McCormick WILSON, 89, of Orrville, passed away October 29, 2015 at Orrville Pointe in Orrville.
He was born January 5, 1926 in Cumberland, Maryland, the son of Frank M. and Fannie Wilson.
Mac graduated from the University of Maryland and had worked as a manager at United States Steel in Pittsburgh and 10 years with Lease Motor Vehicles, Inc. in Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He proudly served his country with the US Navy during WWII with Amphibious Forces.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hudson Wilson; his children, Christie L Shanahan, Cathy L Burkhardt, Barbara H Fedorchak, Katherine L Sieple, grandchildren, Meghan, David, Lauren, Lindsey, Thomas, Nicholas, Cody and Annie, great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Gabriella, Janis, Lily and Andrew.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Patricia Louise Wilson, sons, James H Reynolds and David T Reynolds, a brother, Frank Wilson and a sister, Fanny White.
Services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ann Paynter officiating. Burial will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
