Julie Lynne Bishop, 54, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 in Wooster, Ohio. Born September 25, 1953 in Akron, Julie graduated from Kent State University High School in 1971, and received her bachelor’s degree in physical education and health from Miami University (Ohio) in 1975. She worked in law enforcement, owned her own stained glass business for 12 years and received her nursing degree in 1994.
Julie was raised in Silver Lake, Ohio by her loving parents, Earl and Bernita Blake Bishop and was active in athletics, scouting and church. Julie was vivacious, fun-loving, adventurous and loved to laugh. Her outgoing nature and kind spirit easily won the hearts of everyone she met. Julie had a special fondness for the elderly, frequenting a local nursing home for years. Julie also volunteered her nursing talents at the Viola Startzman Free Clinic.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Bill Yund, brother, Jim Bishop (Lynne) and sisters, Judy Ford (Chuck) and Jenni Adams (Dan), nieces and nephews Steve Bishop, Jeff Unger, Amy Unger, Jen Hilkeman and Nic Adams and adopted brother, John JB Bone. We will remember Joules as a free spirit who lived life to the fullest.
