He was born July 29, 1962 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of Alfred C. and Nancy J. Perazzoli Leist.
Mark was a long time resident of Apple Creek Developmental Center, and had been a resident of the Mount Vernon Developmental Center since 2003. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithville.
Surviving are his father Alfred C. ( Brenda K. Reichard) Leist of Wooster. A brother : Jeffrey (Jennifer) Leist of Cincinnati, a sister: Samara V. Leist of Wooster. Step sisters: Donna (Franz) Reichard Albright of Smithville and Audrey (Mike) Reichard Wolfarth of Morgantown West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy J. Leist and a sister Karen Leist Cummins.
