She and her husband had owned and operated Danner Sporting Goods and
Tavern from 1945 to 1974. Barbara had worked as a telephone operator
with Ohio Central Telephone Co. from 1931 to 1942 and had also worked for the Freedlander Dept. Store. She was a member of the First Church of God and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are grandchildren Matt, Chad (Maitland) and Ryan Danner;
great-grandchildren Tyler and Hayes Danner; a daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Danner and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Danner in October of 1971 whom she married in 1942 and her second husband Ralph E. Fisher on February 14, 1992 whom she married April 2, 1982, a son Clifford A. Skip Danner, a daughter Betty Joan Danner and sisters Helen Taggart, Margaret Reno and Mildred Hughes.
