She worked as a Fiscal Accounting Clerk for the Navy financial center in Cleveland for 29 years. She was a member and Trustee at Second Baptist Church and had been a member of Women in Government Service.
She was preceded in death by a brother Karl J. and a sister Elizabeth Hairston.
There are no immediate survivors.
