WOOSTER – James G. MILLER, 84 of Wooster, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
Born October 31, 1923 in Alderson, WV, he was the son of James G. and Anne Clay Miller.
He worked as a tire builder at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Akron for 30 years. He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church
Surviving are sons, Jamie (Cindy) Miller of Wooster, and John (Elizabeth) Miller of Wooster, daughter, Connie(Steve O’Neal) Musselman of Marlton, NJ, sister, Francis Okita of Rochester, NY, Grandchildren, Sean Miller, Troy Long, Eric Musselman, Alison Miller, Jacki Miller, Jessica Miller, Brandy Schafrath, Kelli Mize, Nichole Boykin and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Bertha Combs Miller who died Feb. 24, 2004 whom he married in 1954. Sons Bill & Robert Musselman, brother Edward Heskett and sister Carol Heskett .
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, from 2 hours prior.
Services will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wednesday December 19, 12:00 PM Rev. Wayne Giesler offciating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
