WOOSTER – Michael J. Kamp 57 of Wooster died Friday Jan. 4, 2008 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday Jan. 8, 2008 in the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He was born Oct. 16, 1950 in Dover Ohio. On Jan. 23, 2004 he married Barbara Fishel who survives.
Michael was A quality control Manager at Wayne Steel for over 25 years before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed wood working and working on projects around his home.
Also surviving is his daughter: Melissa (Todd) Leach of Wooster. A granddaughter Riley Leach. Two step-sons: Jimmy Lunsford of Akron and Jason Lunsford of Parma.
3 brothers: Kenneth (Sheryl) Kamp of Orrville, Edward (Bridgitte) Kamp of California, and Stanley (Marilyn) Kamp of Millersburg. Several Nieces and Nephews. Other Family members: Gladys Barnhouse, Jacklyn Butts, Sharon Knepp and Jack Edward Barnhouse Jr. all of Florida.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Martha Mast Kamp. A son Todd, A brother Ronald Kamp and by Jack Edward Barnhouse Sr.
