WOOSTER – Martha R. Fockler, 79 of Wooster died Friday February 1, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1928 in Knox County the daughter of Alva and Louise Juergens Fockler.
Martha worked as an Artist and Graphing Technician for the Egronomy Department of the OARDC for over 25 years, retiring in 1990. Prior to that she had worked at Newberrys department store and at Dr. Morton’s Lapidary.
She was a 1948 graduate of Shreve High School and enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, antiques, auctions and painting.
Surviving are 2 sisters: Shirley Rouhier and Bernice Fry, both of Wooster. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers: Sanford, Alva, Harley, and Arlo Fockler.
