WOOSTER – Helen M. Tucker, 85 of Wooster, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Wayne County Care Center.
Born May 11, 1922 in Ashland Co. Ohio, she was the daughter of Scott and Treva Witherstine Camp.
She is survived by daughters Carol Tucker and Marilyn Newmyer and a grandson Michael Newmyer all of Wooster, a brother Stanley of Ashland, and a sister Virginia Hunter of Calif. She was preceded in death by a brother William and sisters Maxine Metcalf and Marjorie Camp.
She worked at Cresco. Mfg. in Ashland , Wooster Sportswear, Conti’s Pizza and had been lunch counter manager for many years at Wayne Lanes, and was a waitress at Tom & Jacks Lounge in Wooster from 1967-1993. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed crocheting.
