Services will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Monday, March 24, 2008, 1 P.M,. with Rabbi Enid Lader officiating. Born August 1, 1910 in Wooster, she was the daughter of Meyer and Jennie Snyder Shapiro,
She was an active member of Kenesseth Israel Temple, a volunteer at Wooster Community Hospital and Meals on Wheels, and an avid bridge player. She had worked at the OARDC and had been Office Mgr for Wayne Steel Co. Surviving are daughter, Susan Kay Brown Douglas and her husband Francis A. Brown Douglas of Bethesda. Md, a brother Sam Shapiro of Long Boat Key, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Zolton Guttman May 1, 1956 and a sister Rosabelle Caplan.
