WOOSTER – John Edward Kaser SR.71, of Wooster went to be with his Lord at his life long residence with his family at his bedside Saturday March 29, 2008.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday April 1, 2008 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home with Father Daniel Reed officiating.
He was born July 29, 1936 in Wooster, Ohio the son of William Earl and Frances Emily Williams Kaser.
John had worked as a mechanic for Metalics Recycling, and was a former chief of the Wooster Fire Department, and had worked at the Wooster Daily Record, and various other jobs throughout the years.
He was a member of the National Rifle association and enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything involving the outdoors and working with his hands.
John is survived by his children: Daniel Kaser of Shreve, Tim Kaser of Canal Fulton, Cheryl Hart of California, Hope Sweeney of Wooster, John E. Kaser Jr. of Millersburg, Jean York of Idaho, Jerri Miller of Mt. Eaton, and Jim Kaser of Ashland. 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Former spouses Edra Yoder of Canal Fulton, and Bonnie Kaser of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Kaser.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wooster City Fire Department 538 N. Market St. Wooster, Ohio 44691, the American Cancer Society 525 N. Broad St. Canfield Ohio 44406, or to any wild life charity of ones choice in his memory.
