WOOSTER – John A. TOMASSETTI, 83, of Wooster, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, from Thursday evening 6-8:00 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Friday, April 4, 2008, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Born April 6, 1924 in Wooster, OH, he was the son of Dominic and Elvira Iannarelli Tomassetti.
He had been a Lithographer for Rubbermaid. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Lamplighters and served his country with the U. S. Navy during WWII.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth McCallion Tomassetti, a son, Dominic (Brenda) Tomassetti of Lancaster Gap, PA, daughters, Charlotte Devore of Wooster and Kathy (Steve) Winland of Jeromesville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Elizabeth (Chester) Smail of Wooster and brothers, Richie (Fran) Tomassetti Indiana, Roger (Ruthie) Tomassetti and Steven (Mary) Tomassetti both of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by sisters Rosemary DiGiacomo and Catherine Tomassetti and brothers Dominic Jr., Raymond, Robert Tomassetti and an infant sister Elizabeth.
