WOOSTER – Virginia M. STARN, 93, of Wooster, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Christian Church, Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 7:00 P.M. with the Rev’s Kevin Phipps and Evelyn Manzella officiating.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
Those who wish may make contirbutions to the Viola Startzman Free Clinic, 1874 Cleveland Road, Wooster, OH 44691 in her memory.
Born December 3, 1914 in Wooster, OH, she was the daughter of George H. and Alice Steiner Starn.
She was a secretary with the Taggart, Cox and Moore Law Firm, and to the President of the College of Wooster for 6 years retiring in 1979. Member of the Central Christian Church and had been an organist for several churches in Wooster and loved music. Former member of the McDowell Club, Classics Club and the B.P.W. Enjoyed playing golf. graduated from the College of Wooster in 1938.
She was the last of her family.
Preceded in death by sisters Pauline Starn, Isabel Durstine and brothers William Elbert Starn and Donald Starn.
