WOOSTER – Helen L.PATTY LOFGREN, 85 of Wooster, died Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital surrounded by her family.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M..
Services will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Monday May 5, 2008, with Rev. Dr.David Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Born November 14, 1922 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of Donald and Marquerite Duncan Patterson
Being the wife of a United Methodist Minister, she has served churches and communities wherever they lived. She has always taken great joy in family time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special gift & calling of praying for others.
Surviving are her husband J.W. Bill’ Lofgren whom she married Nov. 17, 1942, Daughters, Lois & Gary Werner of Massillon, Louise Cook of Jacksonville, Fla, Arlene & J.D. Milliken of Wooster, a Son, Charles Lofgren of Wernesville, Pa.; 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren, Brother, Calvin & Claire Patterson of Madison, PA, Sister, Lois & Frank Wilson of Kenosha, of WI, .
She was preceded in death by brothers Morrell, Bill, and Donald, and sisters Olive and Virginia Patterson.
