WOOSTER – Thelma A. BILLIAR, 92, of Wooster, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, 1 Hour prior to the 2:00 P.M. service on Friday, May 23, 2008 with the Rev. Dwight Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Grand Central Station, PO Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
Born June 4, 1915 in Kenton, OH, she was the daughter of Lowell Daniel and Minerva Reel Johnson.
She was a homemaker and mother. She had also been a cook and had been in restaurant management. She lived to travel, play cards and spend time with her family. She was a member of the Wooster United
Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children Becky (Dale) Weinman, Barbara L Frank and Kathy Jerisek all of Wooster and Steven (Amy) Billiar of Columbus; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Heilman and JoAnn Murphy of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Knobby Billiar
on October 6, 1977, a daughter Constance Connie Degler and brothers Edward and Richard Johnson.
