WOOSTER – Bernice Arlene BARKER, 84, of Wooster, died Monday, July 14, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, on Friday evening from 6-8:00 P.M..
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Born November 11, 1923 in Marshallville, OH, she was the daughter of Sebastian F. and Dortha Shane Drouhard. She married Harold Barker on May 12, 1942. He died April 4, 1998.
She owned many taverans throughout the Wooster area for many years. She was a member of Lamplighters and Wooster American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are son, Harold Butch (Rosie) Barker, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, grandchildren Tommy of Missouri, Harold Jr. of Texas, Eric Barker of Wooster and a granddaughter Marie Barker of Columbus; a sister Maxine Wright and brothers, Glen Drouhard, Dick (Jean) Drouhard and Frank (Donna) Drouhard all of Wooster; sisters-in-law, Iona of Dalton and Ann of Akron.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by a son, Floyd Spike Barker and brothers Floyd, Robert and Larry Drouhard.
