WEST SALEM – George Elwood BOREMAN, 83, of West Salem, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Glendora Health Care Center.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, on Friday evening from 6-9:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. James Hostetler officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

Born November 30, 1924 in Wooster, OH, he was the son of Cleveland P. and Alverdia Raudebaugh Boreman.
He was self-employed in the timber business. George loved life and his family. His timber business was really a hobby. He told his son, John, if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life. He was a member of the Auckerman Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Colleen Arnold Boreman, to whom he had been married 62 years; his children John (Linda) Boreman of Wooster, Connie (Bill) Shearer of Wooster and Cindy (Larry) Doll of Smithville; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a step-brother, Norman Boreman of Burbank and a step-sister, Becky (Ray) Cogar of Smithville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Daniel W. Boreman, brothers Jim, Bill and True Boreman and sisters Opal Mann, Alzina Rouch and Treva B. Cherry.
