Treva JoAn Arnold, 78, of Wooster, OH, died September 23, 2008 in the Wayne Co. Care Center.
Services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Melvin officiating. Interment will follow in the New Pittsburg Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born January 1, 1930 in Wooster, OH, daughter of Frank and Georgia Rotman Bowersock.
She had worked as a waitress for Purdy’s Restaurant, baked pies every summer for Miles Firestone for county fairs, was a bookkeeper for Bill Miller Volkswagen, worked at Regal Ware, and New Pittsburg Veterinary Clinic. She was a former 4-H advisor, a past volunteer for the American Cancer Society, very enthusiastic in her use of the computer and enjoyed gardening and crafts.
Surviving are her children Georgina (Larry) Watson of Wooster, Donald Dean (Martha) Arnold II of Las Vegas, NV, and Daryl Eric (Heidi) Arnold of Wooster, grandchildren B.J. (Stephanie) Nolletti of Tucson, AZ, Jonathan Nolletti of Wooster, Chris (Kelly) Watson, Ryan (Laura) Watson of Wooster, Christina Edwards of Ashland and Amanda McLaughlin of Kentucky; great-grandchildren Autumn Nolletti, Vada, Caitlyn and Mary Watson of Wooster; sisters, Juanita Landaw, Jean (Elsworth) Sigler, Mary Lou (Vincent) Gilbert of Wooster and Betty Merillat of Fredericksburg.
Treva was preceded in death by by her husband, Donald Dean Arnold in 1997 whom she married August 1, 1948 and a step-brother, William Jolliff.
