WOOSTER – Marie Mary UHLER, 100, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the Wayne Co. Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1908 in Wayne Co., OH, daughter of John and Elizabeth Grant Boreman.
Marie did Christian outreach ministery at the Wayne Co. Care Center, West View Manor Nursing Home and Smithville Western Care Center for 21 years. She also taught senior Sunday School for 8 years.
Surviving are her loving grandchildren Tim (Darcy) Haislet, Tom Haislet, Terri (Scott) Harris, Tina Freeman and great-grandchildren Missi (Andy) McKown, Justin Mills, Cody Haislet, Perry (LeAnn) Haislet, Brady Haislet and Georgia Freeman. Many Nieces and Nephews and countless christian friends who loved her dearly.
Marie was preceded in death by her parentds and her husband, H M Harvey Uhler in 1984 and only daughter Joanne Haislet.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Zion Church of God with Rev. Tom Geissinger officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
