WOOSTER – June E MILLER, 77, of Wooster, OH, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born June 20, 1931 in New Philadelphia, the daughter of Emmett and Georgia Henderson Dixon.
She had been employed by the Westfield Companies, Rubbermaid Inc. and was the gift card lady at all of the Hallmark Card Stores in Wooster. She was an avid gardener.
Surviving are daughters, Vickie Dutter (Michael Nussbaum) and Debbie Hartshorne Wickens (Robert) both of Smithville; grandchildren Carlton Dutter, Ashton Dutter and Kelby Hartshorne.
She will be missed by her daughters and grandchildren and special friend, Donna Specht and her cats, Tally, Turk and Tigger.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard L Miller, in 2002, brothers Ronald and Robert Dixon and a sister Margaret Brown.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening from 5-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at Funeral Home Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. O.J. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank Smithville Western Care Center and the staff for the wonderful care given to their Mother.
