George W. Miller 90 of Wooster went home to be with the Lord Friday Dec. 19, 2008 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday Dec. 23, 2008 at the Smithville Brethren Church 193 E. Main St. Smithville, Ohio 44677 with Reverend Ray Aspinall officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the home of George and Beulah on Monday Dec. 22, 2008 from 6-9 P.M.
George was born December 31, 1917 in Shiloh Ohio the son of Claude and Florence Kinsel Miller and on June 21, 1941 he married Beulah Hartzler who survives.
He graduate from Shelby High School and attended The Ohio State University, and tested milk as an employee of DHIA in Medina and Wayne County for a number of years. He later pursued his love for farming as a dairy farmer. He did custom farm work for many Wayne County Farmers.
George was a member of the Wayne County Farm Bureau, the PTA and the Smithville Brethren Church. He participated in the Free for All Tractor Pull for many years. George wanted to make sure everyone got their fair share. He enjoyed traveling to Florida each winter and enjoyed fishing and sharing his catch with family and friends each spring. Each fall George and his family hosted a hog roast which was a favorite of his many friends. His true passion was being a Steward of the land.
Along with his wife Beulah, George is survived by his Children: Gary (Carol) Miller of Jeromesville, Sandy Gordon of Wooster, and Marla Miller of Wooster. 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Virginia Miller of Wooster, and Wanda Strickling of Ashland.
George was preceded in death by siblings: Ray Miller, John Miller, Grace Wolfe, Ellen Washburn, Meredith Miller and 2 infant brothers.

Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
