Rosemary Francis Buchwalter 75 of Wooster died Saturday Dec. 20, 2008 at Akron City Hospital.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Saturday Dec. 27, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with Father Daniel Reed officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday Dec. 26, 2008 from 6-9 P.M. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene funeral home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
She was born June 20, 1933 in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of Howard Z. and Anna Short Freeman. On July 8, 1972 she married John Buchwalter who survives.
Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper for over 40 years and retired from Freeman Construction in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and sang in the church choir. Rosemary enjoyed snow skiing, reading and traveling. Her favorite places to travel were to Topsail Island North Carolina, and Sedona Arizona. She devoted her life to her family and the people she cared about.
Along with her husband John she is survived by her children: Dave (Sherry) Frambes, of Wooster. Melanie (Ernie) Shoup of Dalton. Mary Lisa (Terry) Eubanks of Apple Creek. Laurel (Larry) Strasbaugh of Dalton, and Molly (Jimmy) Clark of Wooster. Grandchildren: Mike and Mark Skelly of the home, Jessica Frambes, Rachel (Josh) Vizzo, Michelle Frambes, Kelly Howard, Tony Howard, Amy (Joe Leggio) Eubanks, Adam Eubanks, Frank Smith, Chris (Leah) Strasbaugh, Craig (Jenny) Strasbaugh, Ben Clark, Jack Clark, Charlie Clark, and Harry Clark. Siblings: Howard R. (Teresa) Freeman of Wooster, Elizabeth (J. Stewart) McCoy of Wooster. One Great-Grandchild, Nicole Leggio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three children: Donn Stark in 1998, Michael Howard Frambes in 1974 and Rita V. Skelly in 2002, and a brother Michael Freeman in 1972.
