Paul Harrison Graham, 84, of Wooster, passed away December 21, 2008 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1924 in Ruggles, OH, the son of Raymond A. Graham and Audra I. (Bahn) Graham.
Paul served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy as a Gunner’s Mate on the U.S.S. Terry. He worked as a cabinetmaker for Ferrell and Gardners in New London and was also a self employed woodworker for most of his life specializing in making custon cabinets.
He was a member of Living Water Fellowship where he enjoyed singing the special songs for Sunday worship. Paul was also known for his sense of humor.
Surviving are wife, Edna Graham of Wooster whom he married in 1994, daughters, Sandra (Randy) Welch of Polk, and Debra (Stephen) Spencer of Toledo; stepdaughter, Bonnie (Jack) Baisden, stepson, Ed (Teresa) Markley; stepdaughter Marcie (Jim) Swires all of Shreve; grandchildren, Bethany (Istvan) Szijarto of Brunswick, Aaron (Tonya) Welch of Polk, Adam (Jill) Welch of Ashland, Matt Sheppard of West Salem and Scott (Heather) Sheppard of Ashland; step grandchildren Daniel Baisden of Lima, Sarah Baisden of Shreve, Tom Markley of Winesburg and Kyle Swires of Shreve and 11 great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jane Finney, brother, Gene Graham and his first wife whom he married in 1951, Florence Graham.
Services will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, December 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Francis Jim Dye officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Cemetery .
Friends will be received on Friday December 26, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster, OH.
