WOOSTER – Forrest D. PATTERSON, 82, of Wooster died Friday, January 2, 2009 in at his home.
He was born March 10, 1926 in Wayne Co. the son of Ernest and Clista Aukerman Patterson.
He retired as a set up from Rubbermaid after 35 years of employment. He was a licensed Charter Boat Captain for Patterson Charters on Lake Erie. Served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, American Legion Post 68 of Wooster and Rubbermaid Local #302 in Akron..
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Jane Mann Amiet Patterson, his children, Lynn (Lanny) Chio of Wooster, Nancy (LaRue) Zuercher of Orrville, Lorlie (Jeff) Gonser of West Salem, Michelle (Steve) Welsh of Apple Creek and William (Karen) Patterson of Wadsworth; step-children, Ronald Amiet of Apple Creek, Robert (Julie) Amiet of Lancaster, Richard Amiet of Okachobee, FL; 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brother, Doyle Eugene (Kathy) Patterson of Rocky Bridge Baths, VA.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, 3 great-grandsons, sisters, Norma Sturgis and Edna Patterson and brothers Ross Emerson Patterson and Wayne Patterson.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday from 2-5:00 P.M.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:30 P.M.

Service
A Committal Service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A procession willl form at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M.

Visitation
Sunday from 2-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home
