Barbara Caroline Richmond 70, of Wooster passed away following an extended illness at her home with her family by her side on Saturday January 17, 2009.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 22, 2009 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Pastor Marianne Powrie officiating. Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday January 21, 2009 from 6-8 P.M.
She was born in Coshocton County on February 24, 1938 to Dewey and Mildred Church Reiss.
She shared her career as both a beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Wooster, where she enjoyed music and singing.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Stephen ?Morris? Richmond. Her four children: Les (Doug) Bertschy of Wooster, Steve (Maggie) Fischer of Hudson, Doug Richmond of Lafayette Indiana, and Laura Richmond of Marysville. Grandchildren: Justin Adams, Derek Bertschy, Kelly Fischer, Steven Fischer, Shannon Fischer and Lydia Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
