WOOSTER – William A FOLL, Sr., 85, of Wooster died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born December 15, 1923 in Muscatine, IA, son of Alfred and Emma Grosser Foll.
He was the Founder of Euclid Spiral Paper Tube Co. of Apple Creek retiring in July of 2006. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a graduate of the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, Long Island, NY in 1945 and was commissioned a 1st Lt. in the Naval Reserves.
Surviving are wife, Patricia Kelley Foll whom he married June 25, 1949 in Great Neck, NY; a son, William, Jr. (Susan) Foll of Wooster; grandchildren William Buddy III (Sara) Foll and Theresa (Kelly) Keho; a great granddaughter Emily Foll; sisters, Phyllis (Robert) Cook of Redding, CA and Beth Shaw of Spokane, WA.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster. Friends may call Monday from
9:30 A.M. until 10:45 a.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
