WOOSTER – Denise M Root, 49, of Wooster passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 in her home.
She was born October 4, 1959 in Wooster, the daughter of Donald W. and Connie M. Iannarelli Ewing.
She had worked for Wooster Brush Company and Edgewood Middle School in the Cafeteria. A member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, wife and best friend to many.
Surviving are husband, Rodney Root to whom she had been married 30 years; daughters, Shanna Root of Columbus and Shelbie Root of Wooster; siblings, Deborah (Bill) Underwood of Millersburg, Gary (Karen) Ewing of Millersburg, Robert Ewing of Shreve and Angel (Jamie) Wood of Massillon.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents.
Service of Christian Burial will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, March 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Moran officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 2-4:00 P.M. and 7-9:00 P.M.
