WOOSTER – Virginia R. SWANK, 89, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born January 21, 1920 in Wooster the daughter of John F. and Helen Boone Swank.
She was the head bookkeeper at Wayne Co. National Bank for 41 years. Member of the First Church of God on Akron Road. Virginia was a member of the Wayne Co. Browns Backers, was an avid sports fan and loved music.
Surviving are cousin, Dolores Boone of Seville and nephews, John Schwartz and Ed Schwartz.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Art Boone, sister, Eloise Schwartz and her lifelong companion, Charles Craft.
There will be no calling hours.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting with arrangements.
