Phyllis M. Kollin 85 of Wooster, died Friday, July 31, 2009 in Wooster. She was born Oct. 10, 1923 in Boyne City, Mi. the daughter of Alexander and Bessie Goldstick Heller and a graduate of the University of Michigan. She lived 60 yrs. in Mi, 20 yrs in Boca Raton, Fla. and the past 6 yrs in Wooster, She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Memorial Services will be held Sunday 4:00 P.M. at Knesseth Israel Temple, 1670 Cleveland Rd. Wooster. Shiva Services will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the home of Leonard and Ruth Kaplan. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Alzheimers Association 4815 Munson St. N.W. Canton,Oh., 44718 or to American Heart Association 15120 Collections Ctr. Dr., (15120=Lbx #) Chicago, Ill., 60693 or to Hospice & Pallative Care of Greater Wayne County 2525 Back Orrville Rd. Wooster,Oh 44691 .Surviving are children Ruth & Leonard Kaplan of Wooster, Beth & Roger Mulder of Dexter, Mi., Dennis & Linda Kollin of Oxford, Mi., and Adam & Lucy Kollin of Troy., Mi., and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Kollin, and 2 brothers. She was an avid card player and golfer and had been a member of the Wooster Duplicate Bridge Club. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
