WOOSTER – Carl R WOHLFORD, 71, of Wooster passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 in his home.
He was born July 8, 1938 in Cuyahoga Falls, the son of Robert P. and Lilly E. Ruggles Wohlford.
He was a security guard at the Timken Co. for 30 years. Member of the Central Christian Church and served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. Member of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & AM.
Surviving are wife, E. Sue Reed Wohlford, whom he married in 1986; sons, Richard C (Diana) and Kenneth A. Wohlford, both of Wooster; grandchildren Mark and Matt.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert A. Wohlford.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 6-9:00 P.M. with a Masonic Memorial Service at 5:30 P.M.
Services will be held at the Central Christian Church on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
