Our beloved Margaret Jean (Peggy Speicher) Achamire went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2009 after a brief illness. She will be so deeply missed. She was born on November 25, 1935 to Ralph L. and Dorothy I. Speicher.
Surviving is her husband Dale Achamire of Apple Creek and two sons Reggie and Pattie (Woods) Brenner and Hal Brenner both of Apple Creek; three grandsons Jacob and Jordan Brenner and Cody Brenner; two granddaughters Gina and Jamie, both out of state and several great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother James L and Sara (Gilt) Speicher of Wooster and a sister Colleen (Speicher) and Jim Martin of Wooster; also many nieces and nephew of all whom she dearly loved.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters Wanda (Speicher) Jolliff and Evelyn Speicher and a brother Bill Speicher.
Peggy worked for Buehler?s for 30 years. She managed the bakery the last five years in Orrville before retiring 11 years ago.
Peggy will always be remembered for her sweet and gentle ways and always so caring for family and friends.
Serving and learning about her Lord was one of her greatest passions.
She will be greatly missed by all of us. When she became ill she is quoted saying ?I?m a winner either way?.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Sept. 9 at 11:30 AM at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Interment will follow at Apple Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM.
