WOOSTER – Faye I MILLS, 92, of Wooster passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 in Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born September 18, 1916 in Wooster, the daughter of John and Jesse Yates Snoddy.
She had worked over 50 years in food service ,many years at the former Keeney’s Cafeteria and 22 years at Hawkins Cafeteria retiring in 1996. She was a charter member of the Wooster Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Carol (Bob) Denning of Orrville, Charles (Janet) Snoddy of Wooster, Larry (Shirley) Snoddy of Wooster, Bonnie Miller of Wooster, Gary Snoddy of Portland, OR, Joan Byrnes of Phoenix, AZ, Roger Mills of Phoenix, AZ and Bobby Mills of Omaha, NE and a cousin, Betty Falk of Orrville and special friends Betty Hawkins and Janet Studer.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband Willard (BUD) Mills Sept. 18, 1989 whom she married March 5, 1937, her parents, brother, Glenn Snoddy and a sister, Helen Snoddy
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Nathan Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
