SHREVE – Roger E FRANKS, 62, of Shreve, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born August 9, 1947 in Wooster the son of Wilson and Mildred Wirt Franks.
He had worked in the oil well service industry for many years and prior to that he had been a truck driver. Served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are daughter, Nicole Franks of Cleveland Hts and a brother, Wilson E. Franks of Lakewood, WA.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Ryan M. Franks, a sister, Janice Himmelright of Wadsworth, a brother, Richard Franks of Los Angeles, CA.
Graveside services will be held at the Wooster Cemetery on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
Friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Roger’s life Monday evening from 6-8:00 P.M. at his home.
