WOOSTER – A. Louise SMITH, 83, of Wooster passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 in her home.
She was born November 28, 1925 in Beaver Dam, KY, the daughter of Clarence and Alie Elizabeth Goodman Haven.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Tip Top Restaurant, Butter Ball Restaurant, Wayne Lanes, Newberry’s, Ponderosa Steak House, A & W Root Beer Stand, Regal Ware, Weitzel Dry Cleaners.
Surviving are her children, Melva Krahl of Wooster, Lola (Pat) Giles of Kissimmee, FL, Pamela (Jim) Henry of Wooster, Patricia (Bobby) Alleman of Wooster, Melvin Clifford Perry, Jr. of Shreve, Debra (Rick) Conrad of Apple Creek, Jenny (Alan) Thompson of Wooster, Paula (Jim) Shrader of Wooster and Margaret (Allen) Logan of Dalton; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Melvin C. Perry and Donald Frederick Smith, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11:00 A. M. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
