Athalene Lucille Zellner, 88 of Wooster died Saturday Nov. 7th 2009.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Thursday Nov. 12th 2009 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Major Robert Sears officiating.. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
She was born Feb. 7th 1921 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Glen and Pearl Van Wagner Spayde.
Athalene was the owner and operator of Ziggy?s Camp Site in Loudonville and the Chatterbox in Bucyrus. She had also worked in the Cafeteria at Gerstenslager Company, and worked as a Home Health Aide and in Child Care. She attended church at the Salvation Army , where she was also a volunteer and was in the Ladies Home League. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Wooster.
Surviving are her Children: Darlene Smith of Wooster, Ronald Burggraf of Florida, Marvin Burggraf of Bristolville Ohio. 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Richard Ewald.
