WOOSTER – Danny Lee SMITH, 56, of Wooster passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 in University Hospitals in Cleveland.
He was born March 25, 1953 in Millersburg, the son of Leroy and Harriet Beverly Albertson Smith.
He worked in an auto body repair shop, was a coin collector, liked classic cars and enjoyed camping. Served his country with the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
Surviving are his children Brooke Smith of Rock Ledge, FL and Brandt Smith of Wooster; his father of Canton, mother of Wooster; sisters, Janell (Rudy) Braddock of Wooster and Teresa (Charles) Ogle of Shreve and a brother-in-law, Jim Appleton of VA.
Danny was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Joanne Appleton.
A Memorial Service will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 3:00 P.M.with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
