WOOSTER – Naomi Fay BIGGS, 86, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born October 10, 1923 in Shreve, daughter of Carl B and Garnet M Wachtel Hostettler.
She woked for 13 years at United Titanium in the shipping dept. Naomi was a member of the Central Christian Church, a member of the Shreve American Legion auxiliary, the Wooster Emblem Club and the Wooster Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Robert B. Jr. (Cheryl) Biggs of Shreve, a daughter, Vicki (Michael) Coleman of Wooster; grandchildren, Bart (Jennifer) Biggs of Shreve and Christy (Anand) Kapur of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchildren, Braden and Bryce Biggs; sisters, Marjorie Rinard of Wooster, Leta Leaman of Fredericksburg, and Jeannie Troyer of Wooster.
Naomi was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Robert B. Biggs, Sr. on May 14, 2006 whom she married March 27, 1946, brothers Albert, John and Guy Hostettler and sisters Beulah Movens, Lavera Carter and Thelma Miller.
Friends will be received 1/2 hour prior to the 10:00 A.M. Memorial Service on Saturday, January 23, 2010 with the Rev. Joel Engman officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
