WOOSTER – Nancy C. Brown, 79, of Wooster died Monday, January 25, 2010 in her home.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 17, 1930 to Frederick G. and Elizabeth Miller Campbell.
She graduated from Mars (PA) High School in 1948 and The College of Wooster in 1952. She married Donald E. Brown in December of 1952. He died March 2, 2002.
She had been a member of the Junior Women?s Club and served one term as its president. She was Director of the Wooster Duplicate Bridge Club at the YMCA and had taught bridge lessons at the YMCA and the Community Center. Nancy served several terms on the Board of the ?Land O?Scots? Alumni Club and most recently she was women?s class secretary for the College of Wooster Class of 1952.
She had worked as a clerk/secretary in the Quality Management Department at Wooster Community Hospital retiring in 1995.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane (John) Henderson, a son, Richard (Christi) Brown, grandchildren Dylan Brown, Kimi and Nickole Smith and Jamie Perez.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Colin Campbell.
There will be no calling hours or services.
The McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
