WOOSTER – Dana S WRIGHT, 64, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in her home.
She was born May 7, 1945 in Peru, IN, daughter of Artie and Catherine Harding Ellis.
She was a homemaker and had retired as a bartender from the Eagles Lodge. She was a member of F.O.E. #811 of Wooster. Dana enjoyed gardening, flowers and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband, Chuck Messner, whom she married in February of 2001; her children, Tim (Kim) Carr of N. Lawrence, Kelly (Bernard) Holliday of Wooster, Carla (Ed) Smith of Jeromesville and Bob Wright of Wooster; step-children Tim Wright, Barb Wright, Amy Shifferly and Betsy Wright; 30 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Becky Decker, Kathy Denny and Vicky Carroll all of Wooster and Larry Ellis of Akron.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Nancy Dixon and Sharon Poindexter.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
