SHREVE – Carey Michael Mike CLARK, 64, of Shreve passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in his home.
He was born February 23, 1946 in Wooster, the son of Eldon R and Ruth Franks Clark.
He attended Franklin Elementary School and graduated from Waynedale High School, had worked for Garn Trucking and was a self-employed steel hauler. Mike was a member of the Moreland United Methodist Church. He was a lifelong Moreland resident who spent his early life in his parents general store in Moreland. He was very devoted to his wife and loved outdoor activities, working on small engines and enjoyed spending time at Wirt’s Garage and going to tractor sales. He was a member of various antique tractor organizations.
Surviving are wife, Bettyjane Almeda Myers Clark, whom he married in 1977; a sister, Karen Clark of Wooster and an aunt, Helene Pontrell of Louisville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carey was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Moreland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Fish officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
