Evelyn Virginia Knight, 90, of Wooster, died Friday June 25, 2010 at Horn Nursing Center.
She was born June 27, 1919 in Smithville, WV, daughter of the late Samuel D. and Ida Mae (Ferrell) Knight. She was one of ten brothers and sisters.
Evelyn was a homemaker and attended St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters Betty L. (Michael B.) Franklin of Venice, FL, Sharon L. (Edward L.) Swartz of Wooster; grandchildren Mark E. Swartz, Scott E. (Sue) Swartz, Amy (John) Pisani, Beth (Mike) Jewell; great grandchildren Mia and Katie Swartz, Nathan and Isabelle Pisani, Emily, Tyler and Samual Jewell; sisters Beulah Huffman of Grantsville, W.VA, Bonnie Rikard of Marietta and Loretta Sampsel of Cuyahoga Falls.
Along with her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by a grandson, David DiScipio, brothers, Denver, Troy, Delbert, William Bill? and Russell Knight and a sister, Barbara Bear.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 28 at 2:00 PM at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St, Wooster with Rev. Christopher Trenta officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
