WOOSTER ? Joan L. Dinsmore, 72, of Wooster died Saturday, June 26, 2010 in Akron General Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1937 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Roy and Irene Bates Wilson. She married Marvin E. Dinsmore on August 28, 1986. He died March 19, 2010.
She was a waitress and a homemaker and had attended the Wooster Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her mother of Wooster; children Debra (Mike) Saxon of St. Louis, MO., Terri (Dennis) Edmunds of Wooster, Sherry (Bob) Hampton of Athens, TX and April (Robert) Ashley of Wooster. Grandchildren Joe and John Saxon, Tabitha Dawson, Linsey and Zachary Edmunds, Ranie and Dalton Thomas and Austin and Lydia Ashley; Great-Grandchildren Rhiannon Dawson and Ashton Thomas; A brother Donald (Nancy) Wilson of Rockville, MD; Nieces Kristen Montsinger, Kelly Smith and a nephew Todd Wilson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
Friends will be received Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wooster Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 1:00 p.m.
