BIXBY, OK – Marlene M PATTERSON, 75, formerly of Wooster, passed away July 1, 2010 at the Southtown Nursing Home in Bixby, Oklahoma.
She was born October 24, 1934 in Shreve, the daughter of Lester and Owera Fough Bixler. She married Wayne E. Patterson on July 8, 1951. He preceded in 1963.
She had worked for the Diamonite Company in Shreve, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ladies Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her children, Sherry Crowner of Wooster, Jim (Cynthia) Patterson of Bixby, OK and Kay (Ken) Heller of Glenwood Springs, CO, grandchildren, Nicholas (Jennifer) George of Wooster, Jennifer (Luke) Reynolds of Shreve, Joseph (Joy) Patterson of Lubbock, TX, Jill (Nick) Gasser of Creston and Jeanna Slabaugh of Loudonville; 6 great-grandchildren, Jessica George, Ethan (Carter) Gasser, Tyler and Tierra Slabaugh and Addison Reynolds; sisters, Bonnie Taggart and Judy Battig both of Wooster.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Daniel Crowner.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at Funeral Home, July 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Fred Combs officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
