Lucille Carmella ?Aunt Cille? Pagniano was born on July 18, 1915 in Wooster, Ohio and died July 28, 2010 in Lufkin, Texas.
She was a life time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster and embraced St. Andrew?s Parish upon her move to Lufkin Texas.
After losing her mother at the tender age of 3 she was raised by her older sister Olympia and her husband Ralph Dorazio.
At an early age she discovered the inner rewards of helping others and patterned her life around this value.
After retiring from Rubbermaid after 27 years she became the family matriarch. She was always willing to assist with any task. Her favorite job was babysitting for the children and they made this a joy as they loved to sit with her as well. She always had an open door, welcoming all guests with a special treat.
Her love for children did not end with family as she was also dedicated to assisting many missions through donations and prayers that were established to help homeless and hungry children. She was a member of Mission Cirlce NCCW and the Marthas
Her sense of humor coupled by her love and support of family will be sadly missed, but she will remain forever in our hearts as a result of the many warm and tender memories she left with us.
The family?s heart felt thank you goes out to the devoted staff of the Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin, Texas and her Doctors Ayala and Lewis, and her home health care providers and personal care takers who so lovingly cared for her during her extended illness, and Clara Peteri who was like a sister.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dominic and Rosa Cicconelli Pagniano. Siblings: Anthony, Nicholas, Dominic and Angelo Pagniano, Olympia Dorazio and Jenny Giacomo.
