Clara Jan? G. Henry, 77, of Wooster died Friday August 20th, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
Friends will be received at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday from 6-8 pm and an hour prior to services on Tuesday, services will follow at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wooster Cemetery.
Jan was born Nov. 13, 1932 in Sugarcreek Twp., Wayne Co., OH to John A. and Helen M. Weuthrick Zimmerly and married Avery Jacob Jake Henry on Sep 26, 1959.
She retired from being a food line supervisor at The College of Wooster and enjoyed crafts, flower gardening and spending time with her family. She attended West Hill Baptist Church and Grace Brethren Church.
Jan will be deeply missed by her children, Sharon A. (Donald) Erwin of Delaware, OH, Randall E. (Tressa) Gerber of Hoschton, GA, and Karen L (David) Adams, Donald D. Gerber and James A. (Michelle) Henry all of Wooster; a step-son Robert (Beverly) Henry of Stanton, CA; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers Alvin J. and Ellis J. Zimmerly of Wooster, a sister Nora E. (Jack) Leach of Wooster; brother-in-law Richard Rowland of Wooster; sister-in-law Billie Sue Zimmerly of Obetz, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Dennis Andrew Zimmerly, Amos (Andy) Ira Zimmerly, Paul Elam Zimmerly; sisters Orpha Mae (Jean) Rowland and Verna Ida (Nan) Zimmerly; and granddaughter April Dawn Gerber.
