Wayne Eugene BOWMAN, 52, of Loudonville, died Wednesday September 29, 2010 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1958 in Wooster, son of Richard and Beulah Imhoff Bowman.
Wayne was a member of the Mohican Church of the Brethren and had been a truck driver at Ford Tractor and Santmyer Oil.
He was a graduate of Northwestern High School and the Wayne County Career Center in Agricultural Mechanics. Wayne loved the outdoors and was well known for truck pulling at the Wayne County Fair in his red Dodge truck.
He is survived by his father, Richard (Beulah) E. Bowman of West Salem; brothers David Bowman and Gary Bowman both of Lattasburg; 9 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah E. Imhoff Bowman and a sister, Louise Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 16 at 2:00 PM at Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 N. Elyria Road, West Salem with Pastor Paul Bartholomew.
Friends will be received following the service from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the church.
