WOOSTER – Rodrick Alvin MANGES, 56, passed away at his home following a short illness on October 13, 2010.
He was born On December 6, 1953 in Wooster, the son of Alvin and Novella (Amos) Manges. He married Karen Karhan on June 13, 1987. She survives.
Rod graduated from Wooster High School in 1973. He had worked at Cache Valley Yamaha in Utah, Waggoner Building and Remodeling and Whitman Design Collaborative.
Rod loved working with computers, gardening, camping, sking and being outdoors. He had a particular knack for fixing anything.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Leah and Christopher both of Wooster and his sisters Pam Schoenberger, Deb (Jerry) Grenert and Val (Dave) Easterday all of Wooster.
A memorial gathering will be held for friends and family on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 1-3:00 p.m. at the home of Mark Waggoner and Marge Forbush, 316 W. Hutton Road, Wooster.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co., 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
