WOOSTER – C. Ann VAN VOOREN, 78, of Wooster passed away peacefully and prayerfully on Friday, October 15, 2010 in the Wayne Co. Care Center.
She was born July 27, 1932 in Ryan, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Anna Monaghan.
C. Ann was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a member of the Civic Club, the Garden Party Garden Club, a several bridge clubs, was a volunteer at Boys Village and a member of the Win Group.
Surviving are her husband, Morris Van Vooren, whom she married July 10, 1954; her children, Robert (Beth) Van Vooren of Raleigh, NC, Brent (Cindy) VanVooren of Cincinnati, Lynn (John) Periatt of Cincinnati, and Eric Van Vooren of Wooster; 4 grandchildren,, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, Leonard Monaghan of Manchester, Iowa and Richard Monaghan of LaPorte City, Iowa and a sister, Rosemary McMahan of Irving, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 19 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wooster. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
