WOOSTER – Steve E WINCEK, Jr., 62, of Wooster, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 in his home.
He was born September 23, 1948 in Wooster, the son of Steve E. Sr. and Ola Lee Perkins Wincek.
He was self-employed and was a member of the Parkview Church of Christ. Steve loved spending time with his family, playing the guitar and was a friend to all.
Surviving are wife, Ida J Barnes Wincek, his children Todd Wincek and Melody Boylen of Wooster, Scott (Regina) Miller of Wooster and Amy (John) Gilbert of Smithville, grandchildren, Jordan, Kourtland and Gabby Wincek, Britton Miller and Jordan Gilbert; his siblings Roger Wincek, Pat Rochester and Sandy Radiwenich all of Florida and Linda Louthian of Virginia and a brother & sister-in-law, Warren (Diane) Barnes.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dean Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
